This was built mainly for Royal Brunei Airlines Engineering Department to service either two B737 or one B747 size aircraft. It consisted of service bays on the three sides of the Hangar. The steel roof had a clear span of about 76 metres (or 250 ft) on both sides. The hangar was fully protected by a foam deluge sprinkler system. It was one of the largest span spaced steel structures in Brunei Darussalam. The foundation was founded on bore holes.
